The senior credit facility consists of a $7 million working capital revolver collateralized by accounts receivable and inventory.

First Capital was referred to the company because of First Capital’s ability to refinance the previous lender, providing the company with additional liquidity and flexibility to support continued growth. ED MAP is a content strategy and logistics company that provides services and technology to simplify the discovery, adoption, management and delivery of quality educational content within the higher education marketplace.

Regulatory issues continue to emerge for many of ED MAP’s client schools. Federal financial aid levels and eligibility. Gainful employment benchmarks. Recruitment compensation rules. Retention rates. These and other regulatory issues are being tossed around by Democrats and Republicans alike, each side presenting an array of solutions and different attitudes towards any resolution.

The regulatory issues are significant distractions to most career colleges and proprietary institutions. It is likely, however, that the very questions and practices that have brought on these proposed regulatory reforms will continue to simmer and will soon, no doubt, become similar distractions for traditional regionally-accredited institutions.
